Cheshire
Cheshire sits in North West England, between Greater Manchester and Merseyside to the north and the Welsh border to the west. Its county town is Chester, a Roman city known for its city walls, black-and-white Tudor-style buildings and the two-tier shopping galleries called the Rows. Much of the county is the Cheshire Plain, green dairy-farming country and the home of Cheshire cheese.
Warrington is one of the largest towns in the North West, with good motorway links on the M6, M56 and M62. Crewe grew up as a railway town and is still a major rail junction, as well as the home of Bentley Motors. Choose a town above to see local businesses.

Lancashire
Lancashire stretches from the Irish Sea coast in the west to the Pennine hills in the east, taking in the Forest of Bowland, a protected landscape of moorland and valleys. The county was at the heart of the cotton industry, and many of its towns still have mills and canals from that time.
Preston is the county's administrative centre and became a city in 2002. Blackpool is one of Britain's best-known seaside resorts, with its Tower, Pleasure Beach and autumn Illuminations, while Lytham St Annes, on the Fylde coast, is known for its sandy beaches and championship golf.
